Dr. Nyumba Tobias Ochieng

Director

Dr. Ochieng is a research fellow and lecturer at the Institute of Climate Change and Adaptation of the University of Nairobi. He is an expert on causes and effects of climate change, Environmental Preservation, and African Wildlife Conservancy. He has lectured and published widely in these fields, and remains active in promoting best practices in land use in Africa. His membership and academic affiliations include World Commission on Protected Areas, International Union for the Conservation of Nature, Connectivity Conservation Specialist Group, British Ecological Society, and University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute.

 

He earned his MPhil and Ph.D at Cambridge University, and BSc at Egerton University, Kenya.
