Dr. Kamara is a National Economics Specialist at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). A highly skilled career economist with extensive experience in agriculture and rural development policies, he has conducted numerous policy-oriented research at domestic and international levels with specific impacts on African economic development. He has special expertise in Macroeconomic analysis, Macroeconometric modeling, and policy analysis. Over the years, he has been a Chief Economics at NEPAD Agency, a Macroeconomic Surveillance Advisor at SADC Secretariat, a Research Fellow at Botswana Institute for Development Policy Analysis, and a Senior Economic Planner at the Botswana Ministry of Local Government.
